Christine Parnell - Hawkes Bay Artist and Watercolour Teacher

I have lived in Hawkes Bay since I was born and gain inspiration for my artwork from our beautiful landscape and the vibrant port city of Napier. I have been painting for over 20 years and love experimenting with colour and design over a variety of subjects. I work in acrylic, watercolour and mixed media and am finding that with time my work is becoming more abstract in style.
I have exhibited at the NZ Academy of Fine Arts, ArtX, Humanity Painters annual exhibitions and CAN in Napier. I was a founding member of Viva Gallery in Napier.
My work can be viewed at Bent Gum Gallery at 2 Malbec Way in Greenmeadows, Napier (open most weekends Oct to April)
